The Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada invite you to attend “Acne and Youth” a free, 2 hour educational session in downtown Vancouver on June 8, 2015 with Dr. Jerry Tan, an Ontario dermatologist who is a global leader in acne research and supporter of education.

  • Learn about the significant physical and emotional consequences acne can have on youth.

About Dr. Tan: Dr. Jerry Tan, dermatologist and adjunct professor at the University of Western Ontario, is the principal lead investigator in the Canadian Acne Clinical Practice Guidelines project, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop validated outcome measures in acne.
Dr. Tan has published more than 50 scientific articles in peer reviewed journals and presented research findings at national and international meetings.

About Dr. Worling: Dr. David Worling worked in adolescent psychiatry at BC Children’s Hospital before going into private practice. Co-author of Dealing with Depression, he works with children and youth. Dr. Worling holds academic affiliations with the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.
